This win was a total team effort. The girls played hard the whole game. Defensively we only allowed 5 shots--goalie Jill Mitchell and Elena Donato lead the defense. Jamie Pennington, Sophie Schadt, and Taylor Benton all played strong defensively as well. The mids and forwards were working well together connecting on passes and getting the ball in the circle. Mia Sexton lead the forwards, with Elayna Curtin and Peyton Ricthey applying pressure. Emily Alexis controlled the middle of the field while Anna Skrot and Connelly worked hard on the sides.
