The final outcome does not reflect or represent how hard Truman played throughout the entire match. Hats off as well to their GK (Stacy Couillard) - similar to last year, she played terrific.
We truly enjoy playing at Truman - the turf alone is fantastic for a field hockey match. As such, we were able to reset after a sloppy 1Q and begin to play our brand of field hockey (attacking and fast). All of our student-athletes had an opportunity to gain varsity experience in addition to several members finding that back of the cage for the first time this season.
