Abington had a great game after coming off of two tough losses. It was nice to see the girls bounce back. The first half saw Abington control most of the game. Camryn Stewart, Erica Devlin, Maura Calldanoto and Olivia Doughtery did a great maintaining possession of the ball in the middle of the field. Kudos to HH for making some great adjustments at half that made it difficult for us to get the ball into the net. We lost a lot experience to graduation last year. We have a young bench that is really starting to setup with freshmen Mavae Link, Carly Hughes and Brooke Doughtery. I expect to see them continue to grow through the season. The back line held strong at the end to maintain the victory with Maddie Slavin and Grace Upham doing a great job protecting the circle.
