We finally played 60 minutes of Abington hockey. The girls did a really nice job transitioning the ball from the back end to the attack today with sharp passing and great runs. We got on the board early in the first quarter and that score stood until mid-fourth quarter when Lower Moreland answered with a goal of their own. We really dug deep and turned up our intensity for the last 6 minutes putting two more goals in the net. Both goals came during corner play. Maddie Slavin was able to connect twice today and Erica Devlin scored what ended up being the game winner. Camryn Stewart and Olivia Doughtery did a great job controlling the middle of the field and distributing the ball outside to get it down the field. Tara Hughes played a solid game in the back field. We have a quick turn around with Cheltenham tomorrow.
