Lower Moreland hosted Cheltenham in a Friday night game under the lights which honored their four seniors; Kathleen Chen, Kylie Hopkins, Zoe Karros, and Meredith Lutter. The Lions played a strong offensive game winning 7-1. Liz Neeld opened the scoring in the first, followed by Carlie Keller. In the second quarter Lower Moreland added two more goals with another by Neeld as well as Isabella Gioia. Kylie Hopkins, Ellie Chartock and Bri Rocha all found the goal in the fourth to finish out the game. Our midfielders led by Meredith Lutter (4 assists), Mia Karros (1 assist), Jess Pachman, and Zoe Karros really opened up the field and moved the ball creating these goals. Goalie Sarah Rosala had 3 saves to seal the win for the Lions who will take on Springfield on Monday.
