Lower Moreland lost a tough one in overtime to an always strong New Hope team. Today was our biggest challenge so far and the team played with great heart and determination. Unfortunately it did not end in our favor but I am proud of each and every one of my players. Sarah Rosala created the momentum with a huge save on a penalty stroke in the first quarter. Liz Neeld quickly followed with a goal that was assisted by Carlie Keller. New Hope scored their first goal in the second quarter to tie things up and again in the 3rd to take the lead. The lead was short lived as Jess Pachman answered back with a beauty of a shot off a corner. New Hope came out on top with a goal by Morgan Riggione in the 7 v 7 overtime. Jessica Shein had 3 defensive saves for LM and goalie Sarah Rosala had 19 saves. This was a total team effort today and although it did not end in our favor, it was a great effort!
