The Lower Moreland Lions were handed their first loss of the season in a tough game against New Hope. The final score of 3-0 did not accurately reflect the game. It was a hard fought game with the Lady Lions playing a very strong first half. Unfortunately, fatigue and the heat got to them, especially in the 3rd quarter. Coach Janet Lutter is very proud of the way her team played, especially in the first half. I don’t think I have ever seen our team play, a historically tough New Hope this well in at least the past 6 matchups. We will continue to work on some things and look forward to playing them again next month.
