Central Bucks West Comments
North Penn did a nice job creating multiple offensive opportunities that resulted in corners. Our corner defense rose up to the challenge many times as NP was able to convert one on a rebound effort. We were pleased with our effort and will continue to focus on taking care of the ball better along with greater connections across our lines.

Goal Scoring: 1st Q - NP: Katie Blanch (Riley O'Donnell) at 6:12
Penalty Corners: North Penn - 9; CBW - 4
Shots: North Penn - 8; CBW - 4
Goalkeeper Saves: NP: Mallory Stowell - 3; CBW: Brooke Golbeski - 5
Notes: The Knights came out excited to play tonight and played with a lot of energy to hold off the visiting Bucks. The early goal was on a beautiful cross from FR Riley O'Donnell on the right to SR Katie Blanch on the left side of the goal who lifted it past the CBW GK. Erin O'Donnell led the midfield with a solid game controlling much of the possession in the 2nd and 4th quarters. Maddie Waldspurger and Megan Albert were instrumental in the defensive end keeping CBW from generating too much attack. It was a great team win and the team looks forward to building off of game one.
North Penn record: 1-0
