Notes: The Knights allowed Council Rock North to come back in the fourth quarter but were able to convert a penalty corner and penalty stroke in the final 3 1/2 minutes to secure the SOL crossover win. Credit to Council Rock North for being efficient in the circle in the fourth quarter and not giving up. The Knights held a 2-0 lead heading into the fourth quarter and statistically held an advantage (shots and penalty corners) but a late surge by Council Rock North and some defensive mishaps led to a close game. Senior midfielder/captain Laura Albert came up big for the Knights converting a penalty corner (assist Kylie Barwis) and penalty stroke in the final minutes to put North Penn on top. Junior forward Kylie Barwis had an excellent day on the attack moving the ball up the field and creating offensive opportunities for the Knights while Sophomore Devon Crowley had a strong day in the midfield.

North Penn record: 6-2

I am very proud of how the girls played. Although it wasn't a win, we played consistent hockey and came up from a 2-0 deficit. Our defense really stepped up today, Julia, Keiley, Sierra, Addie, and Cara were rock solid in the back. Kailyn Smith stepped up and hustled on both the defensive and attack fronts. Shout out to Keiley, Kate, Brynn, Morgan, and Megan for their grittiness in the attack circle. Izzy Teitelman played a new position today and really held her own. Although it wasn't a win, the girls fought hard, and I am proud of the way they played.
