Notes: It was a well played, evenly matched, opening day game with playoff feel to it. The Knights capitalized with Erin O’Donnell’s first goal of the day with 34 seconds left in the first quarter to take the lead. The Warriors answered in the second quarter to make it even at half time. The second half was a lot of back and forth with the Knights coming out on top with 1 minute 30 seconds left on the clock with O’Donnells second goal of the night to secure the win. Madison Waldspurger led the midfield and Kiera Holt had a great game in goal securing 17 saves. Her best effort was stopping a late 1v1 with a Methacton forward. That helped shift the momentum late in the game for the Knights.
