Notes: The score doesn’t reflect the play from the Knights today. The first half was dominated by North Penn’s strong passing and quick touches on the ball. Unfortunately the Knights were unable to capitalize on early offensive opportunities and Souderton was able to score early on limited opportunities. That opened things up for Souderton and they executed offensively. Annabelle Smink, Melissa Sessler and Laura Albert had a great game defensively for the Knights against a tough Souderton attack. Sisters Grace and Catherine McGeehan and Caleigh Sperling led the way offensively for the Knights setting up the attack and forcing fouls in the circle. “I am so proud of the way we played against Souderton today. We played truly as a team, possessed the ball well, and after some fine tuning we are excited to move into next week’s games.”

North Penn record: 4-3

Souderton Comments
It was nice to come away with a win today. North Penn always plays us tough and today was no exception. They have very good team speed and did a great job with their 'in-out' passing combinations. I was pleased that we had quite a few players involved in our scoring today. Hannah Cornes did a fantastic job on left post, which is an area that we've struggled with so far.
