Pennridge is a very fast and talented team. CB South scored on a corner at 9:53 of the 2nd Q when Avery Tyler slipped a ball to Lily Haag. The game was back and forth and very intense. Pennridge scored with 2:29 left in the game to send the game into OT. In OT both teams continued to fight but neither team could find the back of the net due to strong defense on both sides. I am really proud of the way our team continued to play hard and I am seeing tremendous growth and improvement in each practice and game. Sam Thomas, Ella Haag, Lily Haag and Maddie Orr stepped up and made some excellent plays on defense. Freshmen, Kaeli VanDersluis and Tessa Walls, along with seniors Rebecca Zakrzewski and Megan Reilly connected well on the forward line, and Avery Tyler, Bella Schute, and Marielle Mauri did a nice job of stepping up in several crucial situations. Goalie Emma Kraft is credited with 9 saves.
Congrats to both teams on a great game!
