1-2 OT (0-0 half)

Goals- Emma Schlotter (assist Payton Muth)
Not sure who scored west’s 1st goal sorry!
OT goal- Bella Aulisio (unassisted)

GKs- Maia Machado 3/5
West- 8/9

Tough game to lose in OT. The game was very even in the first half with a lot of back and forth play. We were able to step up and keep possession in our offensive end most of the 3rd and 4th quarters. Scoring early in the 3rd. But missing out on a few offensive chances.

The game ended on a strange call that got us out of position and west took advantage and scored the game winner.

Credit to west for finishing on their opportunities.

West gk did very well stepping up and stopping some of our fast break chances.
Central Bucks West Comments
We believe that our team learned and took an important and valuable step forward in being able to finish strong against a talented Pennridge team in overtime.
Pennridge created multiple offensive opportunities throughout the match with their transition game by getting the ball upfield quick and relentlessly.
This was an overall total team win. It was encouraging to see our team putting the hard work and effort. Our defense was anchored by our senior GKs (Brooke Golbeski and Sadie Furgiuele) along with Claire Engebreth (center back). Reagan Levant (soph) and Lily Cosner (fresh) stepped up numerous times to help defend against the Pennridge attack. Our midfielders (Julia Bunch, Meg Weyer, Caroline Crecca, Kate Waskey) played inspired and continued to help and support on both ends of the pitch. Our forwards (Bryn Spoerl, Bella Aulisio and Mimi Duffy) played their best match of the season in creating multiple attaching opportunities.
Mimi Duffy (freshman) tied the game by scoring her 1st goal of the season scoring from the backside with a rebound shot with just under 3 minutes to play in the 4Q. In OT and after an infraction call, Bella (junior) self started and broke directly towards goal scoring on a short side shot past the GK for the win in OT.
