Today’s game was a battle and we all came to play. First two quarters there was a lot of back and forth, but during the 3rd and 4th quarters we were able to capitalize. Paige Longacre got us on the board with a rebound and lift over the goalie to hit the back of the cage with 12:59 left in the 3rd. Sunday Draper put a second one in during the 4th, with a solid drive to the back of the cage, with 3:27 left in the game.

I have to hand some props to my defense today as they were a powerful force today. PW had multiple corners on us and our defense stood strong. Our goalie, Darcy Baxter was agile in the cage today serving up many strong clear and great saves. Our center defender, Ember Retter had multiple clears out wide, strong stops and just overall phenomenal play back there to help us out.

We moved as one unit today supporting each other from the back defense to middle line of midfielders and all the way up to the offensive line. Every player showed up today to play and that’s what contributed to a successful win for us.
