"PW celebrated Senior Night with a 3-2 overtime victory over Wissahickon. Before the game we had the opportunity to honor the contributions and accomplishments of our 10 seniors, Kasey Blake, Ava Borkowski, Kennedy Covington, Alexa DeLucca, Regan Gehman, Haley McCourt, Darcy Miller, Kaleigh Missimer, Shelley Price, and Sarah Trask. We also honored our senior manager, Clancy Lynch. The game was tightly contested and Wissahickon got on the board first with 5:58 remaining in the 1st quarter to give the Trojans a 1-0 lead. Hailey Copestick would score a nice lifted goal to tie the game at 11:02 in the second quarter. Alexa DeLucca would put the Colonials ahead 2-1 at the 13:12 mark of the 3rd quarter. Wissahickon put a great deal of offensive pressure on PW in the 3rd quarter as PW struggled to outlet with possession. Wissahickon's persistence would pay off at the 10:13 mark of the 4th quarter to tie the game. PW earned a number of offensive corners towards the end of the game, but couldn't put one in the net, sending the game to overtime. Wissahickon had the initial possession in overtime, but after earning a free hit, PW would work down the field sending a ball to Ava Borkowski who would take a low angle reverse shot to secure the win at the 13:37 mark. Overall, the game was a competitive battle and a fun way to celebrate senior night. It was truly a team win."
