Tonight’s game was a hard fought game with majority of the battle between the 25’s of both teams. The team preserved to hold the 2-0 lead that we established earlier in the game. The initial goal was executed seamlessly off a corner as Leah Schwalm tipped a cross from Alex Bevan-Xenelis with 8:18 left in the 1st quarter. The team’s second goal was shot after some give and go’s along the left alley displaying solid teamwork. Kaitlyn Landis capitalized with a sweep to the opposite post during the 2nd quarter with 12:27 left. The score held like this for the rest of the game.
