Erin Roy had the most stupendous game with 17 saves!!! Solid decision making and heads up play. 4 Defensive saves (Annie Coll 1, Hailey Lesniak 1, and Emily Jackson 2) The defense played a very solid heads-up game, marking, working together. The entire team played an amazing game!!! I am so impressed with their determination and focus. It doesn't seem to matter what distractions occur they are present in the moment. Emma Yoder, Malayna Flowers, and Norah Conlin were so very close on several occasions. We were inches away from capitalizing on a goal. It was a great game for Springfield. Annie Coll was key to our efforts today, she controlled the middle of the backfield with skill and a decisive counterattack. Looking forward to the next few games and see where they will take us.
