Central Bucks East Comments
Our goal tonight was to play as one complete unit for the whole 60 minutes and I really felt like we did that. Upper Moreland’s goalkeepers were great so I’m really proud of us for collecting rebounds and finishing. Our ball movement looked great and the scoring was well spread out.
Scoring-
Brynn Bonargo from Sydney Lafferty (12:35 left in the 1st)
Anna Daly from Katie Szczypiorski (6:19 left in the first)
Emma Weisel off a rebound after a shot from Anna Daly (11:55 left in 2nd)
Brynn Bonargo (3:45 left in 2nd)
Sydney Lafferty (5:17 left in the 3rd)
Great play tonight in the midfield by Sydney Lafferty, Anna Daly, and Aly McIsaac. On the forward line Brynn Bonargo had a breakout game and was joined in great ball movement by Emma Weisel, Ava Firely, Emerson McFeely, and Sophia Gerken.

The game started off with the Bears on their heels as a strong Patriot attack kept the ball inside the circle for the first few minutes and scored quickly. Upper Moreland defenders Kelly Bates and Izzy Duncan adjusted quickly and played solid, communicating with their teammates to get the Patriots scoring under control.
In the second half, play was more even. The Bears got some offensive push from freshman mid Bridget Hess and forwards Melissa Torpey and Kyleigh Convey at wings worked hard to take the ball up the sidelines.
We were satisfied that we only had 6 defensive corners against a very aggressive CB East team. We have been working on limiting corners and our backs did a great job with that today. Addi Gans has filled in well for an injured player and continues to grow as a part of our solid defense. Goalie Addi Hurley had 10 saves, while Ash Conrad tacked on another.
