Eventhough the score was not what we wanted, we were happy that we competed with New Hope throughout the game. Our defensive unit of Izzy Duncan, Kelly Bates, Mackenzie Reilly and Julia Gallen played tough below the 25 to keep New Hope from scoring. Unfortunately, too many fouls were called in our own circle to cause corners. Each of New Hope’s 4 goals were scored corners when we were down defenders in our own circle. We did get offensive pushes throughout the contest with Ella Gould and Bridget Hess pushing the ball up to Olivia Torres and MJ Reilly. Charleis Fayall also played well, adding some energy off the bench! Addi Hurley was tough in goal having 9 saves and 3 goals scored against.
