Our team played with a lot of heart for a full 75 minutes. We had plenty of chances in the attacking end but could not finish. Our forwards (Alexa Marczak, Jenna Piantieri, and Zoe Longstreth) did an excellent job in our press during OT and forced a handful of turnovers with their pressure. Our backs did a great job applying pressure and limiting shots on goal. While it was not the result we wanted I am incredibly proud of the way our team played. Congratulations to all of our seniors ( Lia Liou, Zoe Longstreth, Jenna Piantieri, Leah Zoltek, Haleigh Woodman, Claire Mahoney, Liz Santry, and Alexa Marczak).
