The Lady Lions beat William Tennent 4-1 today. We came out strong and had a strong offensive presence from the start. Mia Rosala opened the scoring in the first quarter with Mollie Martin getting the assist. Ashley Avington had both a goal and assist in the second with Mady Rossiter adding the third goal on a corner after time expired in the quarter. Mia Rosala closed out the game with another goal in the fourth with Mollie Martin assisting. Cara Torgan had another great game moving the ball downfield. She has been a critical piece of the puzzle for our offense. Her ability to see the field and get the ball to the open spaces and players has been key to our success. Roya Rosala is another player who has been instrumental with her ball placement and aggressiveness on defense. As a team, we have improved each week, which is what a coach hopes for. We just need to keep everyone healthy and finish our last two games strong. We will celebrate our 9 seniors in our next game against Upper Moreland on Tuesday night.
