Today our seniors really stepped up, Brooke Cordisco was strong on the ball and stepped up coming out of the back creating offensive opportunities. Jamie Pennington really used her skill today to control the center of the field, and Peyton Ritchey did a nice job offensively creating opportunities and getting good touches in the circle. We had some good scoring opportunities today, but Tennent’s goalie, Sophia Trozzi, played really strong and made some great saves. Avery McGinty also played well for us defensively and Sanaa Hebron hustled up top.

Today we were able to clinch the SOL National League, and I couldn’t be more proud of the girls, not only for winning, but for how they have supported each other on and off the field during the past week.

I would like to thank Tennent for their support over the last week; they sent flowers, wore blue ribbons and had a moment of silence today for Coach Dougherty. The teams in and out of our league have been so kind and supportive, it really means a lot to us during this difficult time.
