"PW and Wissahickon played another tightly contested night game. Wissahickon got on the board early in the game at the 12:01 mark and would take the lead into the 2nd quarter. Alexa DeLucca would find the back of the net off a scrum in front of the cage at the 13:19 mark of the 2nd quarter. The game would remain tied at the half. Ava Borkowski scored the game winner off of a tip in front of the cage on a corner play, assisted by Carly McGee with :29 remaining in the 3rd quarter to give the Colonials the go-ahead goal. Overall, PW played a strong team defense limiting Wissahickon to just one offensive corner. Defenders, Carly McGee, Darcy Miller, Haley McCourt, and Jules Tulio did a great job breaking down plays and playing with composure. Sarah Trask would earn 4 saves in the win to anchor the defense. Kaleigh Missimer controlled midfield play with the support of Molly Lynch and Hailey Copestick. The forward line of Alexa DeLucca, Regan Gehman, and Ava Borkowski put a lot of pressure on the Wissahickon defense with their breakaways and transitions."
