Wissahickon's solid team play at the demanding ACE Club was not enough to secure an away victory this day against their American Conference arch-rival Plymouth-Whitemarsh. The Colonials stepped up their game in the most important match of the season to date for both teams to post an impressive 198-207 win over the visiting Trojans. Matt Minetola's 39 from the sixth seed was key to the Colonials' victory as he joined the top three seeds Zach Pogust (38), Alfred Garvey (38) and Evan Beaty (39) in posting scores under 40. Wissahickon's freshman Jalen Griffin was the day's medalist shooting a one over par 37 and was supported by Rishab Kumar's 39 and Steve O'Donnell's 42. The Trojan's losing team score of 207 was impressive in defeat, especially considering that its one seed did not figure in the team's total. Wissahickon's loss drops them to 4-2 in Conference play and out of a first place tie with Plymouth-Whitemarsh and Upper Dublin, but with matches remaining against both squads, the Trojans are still very much alive in their quest for Conference Champion honors.
