Wissahickon closed out a perfect weather week with a perfect 4-0 record in defeating visiting Norristown 200-263 at Meadowlands CC to up their season record to 9-2. The Trojan's Jalen Griffin, the 2011 SOL #1 Ranked player, backed up those credentials in posting the day's low round, a bogey free one-under 35 and was supported by teammate Rishab Kumar whose 37 was the only other sub-40 round of the day. Senior Kevin Edwards second straight "low 40" round of the week took him off the SOL qualifying bubble and on the verge of making his first appearance in individual post season. In all, the Wissahickon squad is on track to place seven Varsity team members into the 2012 SOL Tournament, including four first-timers.
