In a tightly contested game, CB East was able to come back and win at home. Council Rock South scored with .9 to play in in 2nd quarter to pull within 1 at 5-4. The first half was costly as Defenseman Andrew Mannherz who faced off for the Golden Hawks winning 50% with 1gb and 1 assist did not return for 2nd half. Council Rock continued to battle scoring 5 goals in the 3rd quarter to take a 9-8 lead into the final frame. Council Rock South's Owen Dillon opened the scoring to push the lead to 10-8. Unfortunately, another CR South defenseman had to leave the game. Captain Michael Houser who had 4 groundballs went down and could not return. South had the ball with 2:41 to go in game to tie the score and was unable to put one in the back of the net. CB East was able to secure the ball with 30 seconds to go and run out the clock. Owen Dillon led CR South with 4 goals, 5 gbs. Conor McCaffery had 3 goals and 5 ground balls, Joey Smith had 2 goals and Logan Foy had 1 goal and 4gbs. Patrick Malone finished with 2 assists. CR South received a tremendous effort from goalie Billy Houser finished with 17 saves. Next up for CR South in Hatboro-Horsham on Monday at home.
