For the second consecutive game Council Rock South won in overtime. Sophomore Attackman TJ Shores buried the game winner after CB South hit the post during a long possession. CB South opened the game strong, leading 5-3 after the first quarter. The game opened up even more in the second quarter with both teams combining for 10 goals. CB South score three goals in a minute to close to the end of the second quarter to finish the half with the lead at 9-8. CB South increased the lead to 12-10 in the third quarter. CR South had multiple strong performances from several players. Sal Mastromarco played a balanced game with 3 goals and 3 assists. TJ Shores racked up 4 goals including the game winner. Coming off the bench for the second straight evening Antti Autere scored 5 goals and 2 assists. Midfielders Luke Brossman score twice, Brendan Malone scored a goal and Mike Vickrey had an assist. All three played strong defense in the second half that help turn the tide. MJ Feeney also contributed with a goal. Goaltender Mason Shores had 11 assists for Golden Hawks.
Council Rock South (8-4) hosted Holy Ghost Prep (6-5) tomorrow evening. Central Bucks South (5-9) travels to face SOL opponent Pennridge (4-11) tomorrow.
