Doylestown PA – Relentless defensive pressure, solid goalie play and balanced scoring helped lead the Titans of Central Bucks South over Central Bucks West 7-4 in boys lacrosse on Wednesday evening. CB South jumped out to a 3-0 lead and never looked back in upping their record in Suburban One Continental Conference play to 4-2. Led by Juniors Timmy McCrudden and Connor Bechtel, as well as Freshman Kevin Witchie, the defense held firm on numerous man down situations, causing timely turnovers that helped kill any threat of a Bucks comeback. Despite being outshot 34-28 by CB West, Junior Goalie Ryan Kelly was able to keep the Bucks in check with 14 saves. Offensively, seven different players scored, with Willie Pendleton leading the team with one goal and one assist.
CB West was led by two goals from Jimmy Steigerwald.
