Council Rock South used a strong fourth quarter for a come from behind victory on the road over Council Rock North. Trailing 12-10 going into the final frame, Seniors Sal Mastromarco and Antti Autere each scored two goals to push CR South to victory. Goaltender Mason Shores played strong in net with 20 saves.

CR South was down 7-2 early in the second quarter but rallied and closed the gap to 9-8 at halftime. CR North’s Kavanaugh had 2 of his 4 goals on the night in the 3rd quarter and pushed the lead to 12-9. CR South’s Bobby Kennedy score with 9 seconds to go to cut the margin to two. Defenseman Tom Gallagher and Nick Guzy began to make his presence felt at the face-off X. The 4th quarter belonged to South as they outscored North 4-1.

CR North was paced by Sammy Lewis’s 2 assists and Dean Scalamandre 3 goals. For Council Rock South, Sal Mastromarco finished the game with 6 goals and 2 assists. Also contributing were Antti Autere chipping in with 4 goals. TJ Shores had another multipoint game with a goal and an assist. Wes Wanwainger, Luke Brossman and Bobby Kennedy each had a goal.

CR South (10-4) host CB East (9-4) on Monday in a SOL tilt. CR North (11-4) host CB South (5-10) on Monday.
