CR South found themselves down 4-0 with 4 minutes to go in the first period. The Golden Hawks clawed back into the game with the last two goals in the 1st quarter. Joey Smith scored both goals with the last one with 8 seconds remaining. The game stayed even with both teams scoring 3 goals in the 2nd quarter. CR South trailed 7-5 heading into the 3rd quarter but came alive in the first 2 minutes of the half to knot the score at 7-7. CR South continued its' hot streak to take the lead at 9-8 to end the 3rd quarter. In the 4th quarter, Conor McCaffery scores 2 to seal the deal 11-9, Conor McCaffery finished with 3 goals and 2 gbs, Leading the team was Joey Smith with 4 goals and 1gb, Owen Dillon chiped in 2 goals. Midfielder Pat Malone scored 2 goals, 1 assist, 4gbs. Also finding the scoresheet was Logan Foy 1 assist, LSM Brody Walker 1 assist & 4 gbs and Jack Schink 1 assist and 2 gbs. Jake Baniewicz won 60% of the faceoffs in the 2nd half along with 5 groundballs. Defenders Harrison Kim 3 gbs, Tavi Slutsky 2 groundballs and Andrew Mannherz 2 gbs sparked the defense in the second half. Billy Houser was stellar in net with 13 saves,
CR South goes into spring break 5-5 and does not play again until 4/21 away at Quakertown.
