Joey Smith and TJ Shores opened the game the first two goals. The Golden Hawks took an early 2-0 lead and that’s how 1st quarter ended. Pennridge cut the lead in half in the 2nd quarter. Owen Dillon responded with goal on an assist from Joey Smith. Council Rock South lead 3-2 at the half.
Pennridge came out i the second half and scored the next four goals to take a 6-3 lead. Council Rock answered with 2 two of their own as Owen Dillon and Connor McCaffery scored to cut the Pennridge lead to 6-5. The scoring in the 4th opened up for both squads. Owen Dillon’s goal at 7:08 gave CR South their final lead of the game at 8-7. After 3 straight Pennridge goals South scored at the 1:24 mark. With the score 10-9, South had a final possession but was stopped then Pennridge ran out the clock.
