The Hatters won their 11th straight game Wednesday night, as they beat CB west 10-2. Trevor Downing (3 goals) and Jimmy Murphy (2 goals, 1 assist) led the Hatters offensively. Jake Durkin also contributed with 1 goal and 3 assists. Pat Downing, Ryan New, Austin Brownell, and Kyle Mullen each scored 1 goal each. Marc Poust was outstanding in goal with 9 saves to pick up his 12th win of the season. Tyler Gehlhaus and Jake Cresta helped anchor a defense that held CB West to only 2 goals. Steve Palo dominated face-offs, winning 9 of 10, and also led the team in ground balls with 6. The Hatters will honor their seniors Friday night when they take on visiting CB South (7:00pm).
