It was a tough, competitive, back and forth, at times chippy game. We made some mental errors putting us in too many man-down situations which New Hope capitalized on. We had possession in the final minute and put 3 or 4 good shots on goal, unfortunately none hit the mark. In OT New Hope won the faceoff after which we again found ourselves man-down. Our defense worked relentlessly to turn the ball over, but New Hope got the better of the situation scoring the game winner from the wing. The nature of sudden death OT is always exhilaration for one team and exhaustive heartbreak for the other. It's a coaching cliché but the boys will learn from the experience, move forward and get better.

The NHS Lions won a hard fought, back and forth contest in OT at Neshaminy HS , 10/9. Senior Mitchell Lontchar scored the game winner, his 5th of the game, with 2 minutes left in OT. Sophomore Parker Taylor notched 2 goal, Freshman Isaiah Tousignant, had 2 goals and 2 assists. Colin Foster had 1 goal and 1 assist. Senior Captain Lucas Solis had 2 assists .
Very Proud of the Boys resiliancy today. Hats off to Neshaminy as they gave us all we could handle. Mitchell fought through double teams all afternoon. it was only fitting that he got the game winner. Lucas Solis runs our offense and does a lot of the dirty work. He's like having an assistant coach on the field.
Goalie Cole Catalano was once again solid in goal with 13 saves. Hard to believe this is only his second year playing goalie.
Defenders Oliver Phillips, Josh DiZio and Max Moore anchored the defense, had 3 ground balls apiece and were key in the clearing game. LSM Quinn Bridge,Defensive middies, Aiden Olds, Blake Duval and Logan Frapwell were key contributors on the Defensive end.
Colin Foster had 10 wins at the Face-Off circle and was tenacious as usual as a 2 way middle.
On Monday, the Lions host Archbishop Ryan in a non-league contest.
