Junior midfielder and captain Justin Bainbridge (6G, 3A, 3GB, 7/10 FO) led the visiting Colonials to a come from behind victory over the Lions on the strength of two hat tricks and a solid night of face offs. Bainbridge added 3 assists to his six goals, along with 3 ground balls. Bainbridge was joined offensively by senior captains CJ Petrakis (2G, 2A) and Luke Wendler (2G, 1A) who had a pair of goals each, as well as junior Jared Kolsun (1G) and sophomore Ben Backenstose (1G) who each contributed a goal. Defensively, Plymouth Whitemarsh was led by seniors Keith Gallagher and Matt Licwinko who played lockdown defense in the second half. Goalie Nate Mascio had an outstanding evening as well notching 12 saves. Rounding out the Colonials effort was solid LSM play by Senior Tim Sol (3GB) and freshman Isaiah Bainbridge (2GB, 1CTO) and stellar defensive midfield play from Senior Luke Weikel (2GB, 2CTO), who caused multiple turnovers, and Junior Rick Mattioni. The Colonials return home to face visiting Council Rock South on Tuesday.
