Summary-

After a first half that saw the first two quarters dominated by each team, Abington in the first, Pennsbury in the second, the halftime score read a 6-6 tie. In the third quarter each team traded goals, going into the 4th quarter all tied up. After the first 9 minutes both teams defenses and goalies were able to withstand several opportunities unitl senior captain Calvin Hopkins (game winning goal) was able to break the tie with 3:37 still left on the clock. Abington was able to make one more push but the Pennsbury defense and goalie Drew Sweetland stood tall and helped lead the Falcons to their first ever season sweep of Abington. Pennsbury will be able to wrap up an outright SOL National Championship with a win Friday at CR North.
