Summary- Pennsbury earned a convincing non-league victory over Avon Grove defeating them 14-4. After a relatively close first half and some excellent goaltending from the Avon Grove goalie Will Shreiner, Pennsbury was able to explode for 6 goals in the 3rd quarter to open up the game.
The Falcons were led by a balanced scoring attack (led by Evan Caterson 3G, 2A) with each of their offensive starters finding the back of the net. Caterson was also big at the faceoff x, going 7-2 on his draws, allowing the Falcon offense to control the flow of the game.
The Pennsbury defense was lead by Lewis Sears who was able to effectively shut down the top Avon Grove offensive attackman and Drew Sweetland was big in the net making 12 saves while only allowing 1 goal.
The Falcons now move to (9-1) overall and (5-0) in the SOL National.
