Plymouth Whitemarsh continued its hot streak winning its fifth consecutive game and second consecutive league win at host Springfield on Thursday night. In a close game not decided until the fourth quarter, the Colonials received goals from five different players, including Senior Attack Ben Backenstose (3G, 2A, 1CTO) with three goals, Juniors Caiden Lesczcynski (2G, 4CTO, 1GB) and Isaiah Bainbridge (1G, 3CTO, 3GB) at attack and LSM/Defense/FO, respectively, and Sophomore Midfielders Drew Strohl (2G, 1GB) and Jack Cooper (1G, 1CTO, 1GB). The defensive effort was led by Bainbridge with 3 caused turnovers and 3 ground balls and Junior Defenseman Jackson Budin with 2 caused turnovers and 3 ground balls. Junior Defensemen Chase Welliver (1CTO, 1GB) and Connor Rarrick (1CTO) also contributed to the defensive effort. Sophomore Goalie Mason Best had 13 Saves and 3 ground balls.
