The Lady Ghosts pulled off a great comeback and team win against PW. In the beginning we knew that we had to give it our all. Going into the halftime the the score was tied. Abington would trail PW by 3 in the second half. The Lady Ghosts rallied together to find a way as a team to score and hold PW to no more goals. The girls never gave up and kept fighting till the very end. We had 5 different players score. Katie Pennekamp led with 3goals following her was Piper McGinley with 2goals. Audrey Silverman, Madden Murray, and Elle Pennekamp with 1 goal each. Haley Hamsher helped her team with 3assists. The Lady Ghosts did a good job winning draw controls and led by Harper McGinley with 4, Audrey Silverman with 3 and Katie Pennekamp with 2. We could not have gotten this win without the great work by our defense and goalie either. The defense worked very hard to keep up with the speed of PW. They caused multiple turnovers that gave the Lady Ghosts opportunities to score. On the defensive side as well our goalie Jadyn Bagby had 10 saves. With those saves Bagby reached 200 career saves as a sophomore.

It was a tough lost today. PW had a two goal lead. We had control of the game and then gave it up on Draw controls, turnovers and forced shots. Abington tied it up with 11 minutes to go in the game. It was back and forth and with 2 minutes left we had a few good opportunities and the Abington goalie made some good saves.

We are young and still working thru being patient with the ball and understanding when and when not to attack. We had several great defensive caused turnovers but couldn't capitalize on the offensive side of the field.

Playing well was Bri Reynolds with two draw controls and two goals. Defensively Kai Jayo and Kaylin Smyth played well creating caused turnovers.
