Tonight really means a lot to the girls. They have worked and worked to put together a complete game end to end. We knew that North Penn is a solid team and that we would need to be on from the beginning in order to win. The girls came out and I could tell from their intensity that they were determined.
Paige Gilbert had an amazing game. Her speed and drive pumps everyone up. Maddy McGarry also had a stellar night. She is really using her speed well and she is seeing the takes she has and the times she needs to dish. For a player who only played defense last year, she certainly has developed into a talented midfielder.
Lauren Ring was solid in cage. She has really been working and working with my assistant Kelli Romano and tonight she came up with some key saves. SHe finished with 8 saves.
