Comments:

Our team grew so much this game. Our defense was working on recognizing the second slides, and they did it beautifully. Rylee Surovec, Aidenn O’Leary, Sierra Buesing, Olivia Samkavitz, and Courtney Curry all had great games defensively. Sierra and Aidenn both took shots to the body, yet continued to play their game and fight. Our midfield did a great job of being smart on transitions, channeling attackers, and moving the ball smart offensively. Paige Keller has been doing phenomenal on transitions, and Sammy Kishel joined her today. Our attack was able to make smart moves off fast breaks. Ava Delfini, Ericka Zimmer, and Morgan Tait shined on the offensive end. Our brand-new goalie, Grace Gidwani, really stepped it up this game with 11 saves. I wish we could have pulled through and won, but being 10-2 at half it was hard to come up out of that whole.

I am most proud of the fact that we played our game, despite that physical play we faced. CR North ended up playing a player down the last 7 minutes, due to getting four yellow cards.
