Newtown, PA — The Council Rock North Indians delivered a strong performance Tuesday night with a 17–0 shutout win over Villa Joseph Maria, marking their first shutout of the season in what was an all-around team win.
Leading the defensive charge was Lucy Carney, who had yet another stellar outing between the pipes. Carney’s poise and precision in goal kept Villa Joseph scoreless, preserving the shutout and setting the tone from the first whistle to the final horn.
On the offensive end, it was a team effort—but a few stars shined brightly. Cat McBride led the attack with 5 goals, 1 ground ball, 2 draw controls, and a forced turnover. Gabby Mann had a record-setting day, dishing out 8 assists and adding a goal of her own, continuing her reign as the team’s assist queen.
Olivia Esposito contributed a hat trick and tallied an impressive 4 draw controls, while Ellie Carney added 2 goals, 2 ground balls, and a game-high 7 draw controls.
