Central Bucks West Comments
The half time score we were down 4-7 and we got ourselves together and focused and scored five goals, it just wasn't enough. We beat ourselves today. Even though we caused 9 turnovers, we had unforced turnovers that cost us possessions. This is our third loss and the third time it is a loss by one goal. We have a young attack and I am proud of what they have been able to accomplish. We just need to work on our decision making and take better care of the ball. If we do that and truly believe in ourselves, we will be a force.
Casey Reichwein hit a huge milestone tonight of 400 draw controls, 11 in this game alone. She has been such a versatile player over the years. Besides consistently dominating the draw, she has been such a team player. Last year, she stepped up and took a defensive role and this year I knew we needed her leadership and skills on the attack and so I moved her into a position she hasn't played in a year. She does what she is asked all in stride and without question. She doesn't make excuses and she is the first to step up and be accountable when needed. She is a great team player and leader for the girls on the team. She is the kind of player that coaches hope to have the opportunity to coach because while she is open and willing to take coaching she helps make us better coaches.
Casey also had 4g and 1a
Emma Haring 1g 1a
Tori Albrecht 1g
Maddy McGarry 1g 1a
Julia Carey 1g
Shannen Roy 1g
Kiersten Mangin 3 caused turnovers.
We have a big week coming up; our team will need to bring the best of themselves.
