Tonight was an entire team effort! Our defense was incredible and played their best game of the season! It was led by Katelyn Wendling, Sofia Sonnett, Megan Weeks, Olivia Himmelstein, Erin Mayeros, and Ally Cutter. We played down a player for 4 minutes of the first half and 12 minutes of the 2nd half. The defensive unit came up with the loose balls, forced bad passes, and they crashed hard to goal. It was truly a hard fought game and a well-deserved win. Our attack played as a unit as well and was extremely patient – finding the open player and taking the “right” shots.
