Quakertown and Souderton battled for all four quarters on a Tuesday night matchup under the lights. Back and forth goals between the teams allowed for a fast and intense game on both ends of the field. Freshman, Ellie Stanziola, had herself a night and led Quakertown with five goals, seven draw controls, and two caused turnovers. Junior, Casey Rosenberger, was crucial in the midfield with eight draw controls, two caused turnovers, two goals, and one assist. Maddie Taylor, a Quakertown Senior, was a key aspect in the transition and on our offensive end overall. She tallied three draw controls and two goals, allowing Quakertown to stay hot until the last whistle. Sophomore, Elaina Milne, put the ball in the back of the night twice, one goal off a feed from Senior, Molly Kowalski, and another goal off an 8 meter in the fourth quarter. Sophomore, Cassidy Landis, had two goals and an assist on the night, one being an 8 meter goal as time was winding down. Senior, Kayla Glaeser, and Sophomore, Sunny Draper, each had a goal which kept the battle against Souderton going. Quakertown's defense, led by Senior Captain, Katelyn Landis, held strong with multiple caused turnovers and successful clears throughout the game. Senior Goalie, Cassidy Lamont, kept Quakertown alive with seven saves on the night.

The matchup was set at a 14-14 tie towards the end of the fourth quarter. Senior, Maddie Taylor, found the back of the net off a great feed from Sophomore, Paige Longacre, allowing Quakertown to end with a 15-14 win over Souderton. Both teams played with scrappiness and intensity all over the field, making a great game of lacrosse on Tuesday evening.

Quakertown is on the road tomorrow afternoon for a matchup against Upper Dublin.
