This was a tough game for us tonight. There were a lot of things that just didn’t go our way. Souderton came out ready to play from the first minute and we struggled from the start. We were able to pick it up in the second half and fought back hard. We did what we could but fell short tonight. Some key players to note- Bella Guarenghi was able to shut down their main scorer in the second half. Cassidy Hirsch came up with some key draw controls in the second half. Bryanna and Emma came up big by hitting the back of the net for 13 out of our 14 goals. Emma had a piece of 7 of the goals scored with 5 goals and 2 assists, while bryanna had 6 goals on the day. Moira contributed 4 key assists and 4 draw controls. At one point we were down 9-2 we haven’t been behind that much in games this season so to see us battle back and keep working for the win was really great to see - it was great to see how much heart we played with.
