This was a really hard fought game by both teams. Upper Moreland took an early 2-0 lead and was able to extend that to a 4-1 lead, but Upper Merion battled back to a halftime score of 8-6. The second half was back and forth a lot until the game ended with a 10-10 tie. Upper Merion won the game 40 seconds into the overtime period. Annalise Messina had a fantastic game with 7 goals, 1 assist, 7 draw controls, and 5 forced turnovers. Addy Hurley truly kept us in the game with 15 saves often at a key time! Reagan and Willow did a fantastic job controlling the midfield. Our defense is talking and playing well, after a recent injury of a key defender, they are filling in and coming together as a unit. Attack is starting to work together as a unit and had some great transitions to goal. We are looking forward to our first league game on Thursday against Springfield.
