March 27 UM vs. Pennsbury

This was a great game by both teams. Both teams played hard and the scores went back and forth throughout the game. Going into halftime Upper Moreland was leading by 2 goals with a score of 10-8. We couldn’t hold onto that lead, but played hard all the way until the final buzzer. The game ended 18-13 Pennsbury. We are starting to come together as a team. The draws really made the difference as we came up with 12 draws while Pennsburg was able to get 21 draws. Emma Meakim led Upper Moreland with 4 goals and 3 assists. Megan O’Donnell and Alexis Lamb both had 3 goals for Upper Moreland. Cassidy Hirsch, Bryanna Gordon, and Moira Olexa each scored a goal for UM. Moria olexa also contributed 2 assists while Cassidy and Meghan each contributed 1 assist. Cassidy Hirsch also contributed 6 draw controls while AbbyEllen Wood and Megan O’donnell each had 2 draw controls. In goal Sarah Pickard had 15 saves.
