The Upper Merion girls lacrosse team improved their overall record to 3-0
with a league win over Upper Moreland Thursday afternoon. The 15-5 win was
led by senior Kellie Manoppello, who tallied 6 goals and 1 assist, and
sophomore, Melanie Ryan, who contributed 4 goals and 3 assists. Also
involved in the scoring for the Vikings were Julia Ehmer, with 2 goals & 3
assists, Amanda McAteer, with 2 goals and Michelle Bowes added a goal. In
goal for the Vikings was Allison Frymoyer who recorded 9 saves on the day.
This win improves Upper Merion's record in the SOL American conference to
2-0.
Upper Merion plays Cheltenham at home on Friday, April 9.
