We were down 4-0 early in the contest, but the team reached down and really put in an amazing effort.
-Ava Fell was a beast in goal. She continues to impress each week and she really kept us close.
-We asked Elle Stein, who is normally a defender to play midfield today. She has been working really hard to improve her shot and off ball movement. She scored the first goal in the second half on an amazing one timer from Sophia Stehlik.
-Really proud of the hard work Allie Pijanowski put in today. Defense doesn’t show up on the stat line, but she brought a ton of energy and did a great job of sliding to the ball carrier.
We were within 2 in the closing minutes of the game, but Rowan Hilden made a crucial save on a 8m shot. MN transition the ball up the field and scored. We couldn’t get the ball back after that.
