It was Senior Night. I am really proud of the contributions and leadership provided by our seniors: Christine Aemissinger, Olivia Bellinzoni, Ellie Stein, Maddie Radell, Alexa McCabe and Emma Greenberg. Having had the opportunity to be around them all, some for the past decade, has been a tremendous honor. I wish them nothing but happiness and success as they head off to college.

It was an extremely exciting game. We were joined prior the game by the Wisslax youth players to celebrate our seniors and they stayed to cheer the team on. I think that really had the team pumped up to play and we were able to build a lead going into halftime. Credit to Pennridge for coming out in the 2nd half and make adjustments that gave them the momentum. We knew they were a talented team and that we would have our hands full.

They were down 2 players because they had 5 yellow cards (we were down 1 player because we had 4). Down 11-13, they scored 2 goals, which tied the score at 13-13 with 41 seconds left, but Lila Marciniak was able to get the ball to Emma Greenberg who scored with 6 seconds left.

Emma Greenberg has come up big in big moments all year long and this time it was no exception. Some players are just made for situations like tonight. Maddie Radell and Sophia Stehlik also showed real grit tonight. It gets no easier when we face off against Upper Dublin on Wednesday.
